The wedding and reception will take place at the Brandt House in Greenfield, Massachusetts on August 7th, 2004. The ceremony will begin at 4 PM on the back lawn followed immediately by an outdoor reception with dinner and dancing.

Why the Brandt House?

When we began looking for a location for our wedding we knew we wanted a place that was meaningful for us both and that combined nature with a comfortable homey feeling. We chose Western Massachusetts because of the memories it holds as the place where we met and fell in love. And after just one visit to the Brandt House, we knew it would provide the perfect setting in which to create the intimate and relaxed mood we wanted for our celebration.

What should guests wear?

Because it is taking place outdoors, our wedding will be more on the informal side. Please dress comfortably remembering that August afternoons in Massachusetts can be hot and humid, while evenings can be cool.

Make a weekend of it!

Western Massachusetts is a beautiful area, full of great things to do and see. We're hoping that guests use our wedding as an opportunity to take a mini vacation. Glance through our "Things to Do" section for ideas--there's everything from hiking to white water rafting to antique shopping.
